The staff were excellent and very helpful to our needs when requested. The pool was very good and the play area within the bar area was good for small kids. The kids club was another excellent addition to the hotel but only a small fault- While the play area was an excellent addition to the hotel for kids it definitely could do with a deep clean and some air ventilation as it was extremely warm due to the machines and had bad odour within the play area.. Hotel within 500 meters of the main town. No air con in the room but the fans were left in the rooms for guests. The baby cot was in the room upon arrival and we got an early check in thanks to the front house of staff. Plenty of pubs takeaways and super markets within walking distance. Tramore is only a 15 minute drive from the hotel. Free hotel car park again within walking distance of the hotel. Overall the hotel was very good and would have no issue staying here again in the near future.

I booked into Treacys overnight while travelling for work and had a very pleasant stay. While I did not have breakfast in the hotel there were many options for food in the vicinity as well as in the hotel itself. The weather was dreadful on the evening I arrived and it was a relief to relax in the comfort of a fresh, clean room. The hotel is easily accessed just over the bridge on the way into Waterford entering from the M9 so no need to drive through the city. There is paid parking across the street from the hotel but i understand the hotel has parking nearby too. The staff were very helpful and I will definitely stay in Treacys again.
