Staff very friendly helpfull bar food enjoyed entertainment very good Sunday location perfect pool perfect it was lovely stay will go bk again love Waterford very child friendly food on site perfect breakfast everything need small chiper nxt door cheap enough family loved night time bar people very friendly loved my stay like thank staff I'd great time notin I can say only thank u to staff loved way everyone a good time Sunday was my favorite lovely to look out onto river there all lite up night shops were nice Waterford 10 min walk everything need relaxed holiday thank Darragh night bar staff and rest lads all around me favorite place so far to stay like fun and family holiday bus station across road so travel up tramore for day too heated seat in front bar never seen before was great

I liked the old style class of the place, must have been pretty classy in its day, lots of polished wood everywhere. Drink and meal prices were reasonable. And breakfast was great value for 10eu.

The staff were great. I went in at 11:30am to ask where would be best to park until i could check in later on and the guy on reception completely unprompted said he’d check if my room was ready which it was so he gave me my room keys and told me where to park so i didn’t need to pay. The location is great to, right on the quayside and a short walk to all of the shops & pubs etc. I’d read on previous reviews that the place is a bit dated which it was but it isn’t dirty or run down. Breakfast was great to, plenty to choose from & all looked fresh.

5 minutes' walk across the bridge from Waterford train station and located right next to the river, of which I had a wonderful view. Ten minutes' walk to town centre. The accommodation is above a lively bar with regular music which catered to a more mature crowd, and the audience was not rowdy. I was on first floor and had no disturbance from the bar below. Main selling feature of this venue is the use of the swimming pool & spa as part of room booking! It's a decent length pool (20m?) and use of sauna & steam room. Self-service breakfast available and a might fine breakfast it was too!
